NYSC Senate List 2022
The NYSC Senate list is a list of graduates whose participation in the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps Program has been approved by the Senate of Corps Producing Institutions (CPI).
Shortlisted candidates are usually the only ones who can register for the NYSC Program.
The NYSC Mobilization list is another name for the NYSC SENATE list. Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) must ensure that their names are on the Senate academic list of their respective institutions in order to be mobilised for NYSC.
Your institution of learning retains the right to compile and forward the list to the NYSC, who then uploads it to their portal for viewing.
How to Qualify for NYSC Senate List 2022
The NYSC Senate list consists of graduates whose participation in the one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps Program has been approved by the Senate of Corps Producing Institutions (CPI).

The NYSC board does not select the names on the Senate list.

- Be sure to complete your final year Clearance with your institution as at when due.
- Register for NYSC at the Directorate of Students’ Affairs in your School.
- Follow up your registration by checking with your institution to confirm your name before they send the list to NYSC.
- Lastly, ensure that your name is on the JAMB matriculation list.
How to Check Your Name
- Go to the NYSC Senate / Academic Board list portal on your mobile device by going to https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/VerifySenateLists.aspx.
- Choose your institution.
- Please enter your matriculation number and surname as specified on the page.
- You’ll also see a field for your date of birth, which you should fill out.
- Finally, to view your Mobilization status, click the ‘SEARCH’ button.
What to do if you Don’t Find Your Name on NYSC Senate List 2022
If you’ve done everything above and still don’t see your name on the portal, don’t freak out.
Rather, contact your institution to complain, and keep checking the portal because names are not usually uploaded all at once – they could still be in the process of uploading them, and your name will most likely be uploaded later.
